| Lobuche Peak
(6119m) |
| Lobuche
peak is located in the Everest region north
east of Kathmandu. This peak consists of two
different summits, viz. East and west with
the height of 6119meters and 6145meters respectively.
The east peak is recognized as a trekking
peak whereas the west is known as an Expedition
peak.
This peak being an attractive mountain offers
various existing routes and also a probability
of new ones. The dark triangle of its rocky
East face rises down the moraines of the Khumbu
glacier to a nice skyline, forming the south
ridge. The peak of east face reached by descending
a marked notch and climbing steep snowy slopes
to the top. On most occasions, the mountain
is climbed on the summit ridge only as far
as a subsidiary snow summit, south –
east of the true peak and before the notch.

| Day-03 |
Kathmandu - Lukla (2860m) - fly
in the morning for 45 minutes then Commence
trek to Phakding (2600m) - 4 hours. |

After
a very early start and an early take off from
Kathmandu Domestic Airport, a 45-minute flight
is all it takes to propel into the Everest
region of Nepal. The landing at Lukla (2800m)
is spectacular and on arrival trekking crew
who organize the luggage and hustle you off
for tea will greet you. After a leisurely
lunch you will start the trek in earnest,
setting off for a gentle walk to Phakding
(2800m), a further 3 hours to the north. The
trail leads through Lukla, past hotels, shops
and airline offices to the edge of the Lukla
plateau where the trail drops to meet the
intersection of the Jiri trail at Chablung.
From here the trail follows the Dudh Kosi
north through the village of Ghat and then
finally to Phakding where you should spend
the night. |

PHAKDING TO NAMCHE BAZAR(3445m.) |

After breakfast
in the morning, you walk north up Dudh Koshi
valley with gentle ups and downs up to the
benker village where one can see a beautiful
stone carved prayer wall. Then the trail is
interspersed with magnificent rhododendron
tree and old growth forest. The trail follows
gradually up to the village of Jorsale where
is Army checking point is located and the
national park entrance ticket is issued here.
Leaving this check point, the trail goes gradually
up to the confluence of two rivers Bhote Koshi
from left and Dudh Koshi from the right. Crossing
the bridge, the trail goes steeply about 3
to 4 hours till Namche Bazar. Namch Bazar
is situated on the lap of Khumbu Himal range
is about 241 km, lies northeast of Kathmandu.
This is the home of the legendary Sherpas
who have won the international renown as being
the sturdiest climbers to scale the peaks
with their indomitable will. |

This day rest for acclimatization
in Namche Bazar. |

After breakfast,
we may take a side trip on to ridge and then
to Everest View Hotel which is situated in
the elevation in the world, will offer some
of the best spectacular views of the high
Himalayas including Mount Everest, Lhotse,
Lhotse Shar, Ama Dablam, Thamserku. We then
come down to Namche Bazaar to enjoy our rest
day to allow for maximum acclimatization on
our way to Gokyo, Chola Pass and Island peak.
A pleasant day can be spent exploring the
surrounding areas, talking to the friendly
Sherpa people and simply enjoying the incredible
scenery. As Namche Bazaar is situated on the
lap of Khumbu Himal range is about 241 km.

NAMCHE BAZAR TO TYANGBUCHE(3867m.). |

Today,
you walk along the very pleasant trail under
the soaring peak of Thamserku and steadily
descend to the Imja khola and will stop for
lunch at Phunki Tanga where there are series
of water driven prayer wheels. In the afternoon,
you have to climb steadily for about two and
half hours to Tyangbuche monastery the forested
ridge along with switch and the views from
here are magnificent. The monastery is literally
surrounded by snow capped mountains, yaks
graze the small meadow field and the monks
are chanting the prayer "OM MANI PADMI HUM"
inside the monastery. Probably, the most beautiful
place... offers majestic views of Thamserku,
Ama Dablam, Mount Everest.Lhotse, Lhotse Shar
etc. Over night spend in Tyangbuche. |
| Day-7 |
TYANGBUCHE TO PERICHE (4001m.). |

Leaving
Tyangbuche the trail drops down through the
conifer forest past a small settlement of
Debuche and a small nunnery monastery and
you again the height of 12,800ft. After crossing
the suspension bridge over the Imja Khola,
the trail ascends gently up to Pangbuche at
3985m where you stop for lunch. After lunch,
the trail goes continue along the yak pasture
through a wide valley up to the settlement
of PERICHE. The scenery will be superb the
whole day. Over night spend in Periche. |
| Day-8 |
Periche – Lobuche base camp.

Today
you walk up a small ridge and then contour
round the base of the Khumbu glacier and have
a lunch at Thugla. After lunch your trek to
Lobuche base camp is very gradually walk up
to the Lobuche base camp for 2 hours and over
night in the tented camp. |

This day set up high camp (5358m.) |

After break fast in the morning,
we ascend for 3 hours and arrive at High camp
(5,358m) and set up the high camp and make preparation
for the next day to get to the summit. |
| Day-10 |
This day
go to the summit and back to the base camp. |
| Day-11 |
Lobuche
base camp – Pangbuche |

Today,
the trail gradually descend down to Pangbuche,
retrace your trek to Lukla. Overnight spend
in Pangbuche. |
| Day-12 |
PANGBUCHE TO NAMCHE BAZAR (3445m.). |

After breakfast
in the morning, the trail goes down to the
Imja Khola via Tyangbuche monastery then short
climb up for two and half hours, then a bit
up and down to Namche Bazar. Overnight in
the lodge.

NAMCHE BAZAR TO PHAKDING (2650m.). |

You will retrace your steps to
Lukla in about 6 ½ hours leaving your footprints
in Yeti`s country. Overnight spend in the lodge
at Lukla. |
| Day-14 |
Lukla – Kathamndu by flight |
| |
Today,
you have to take your breakfast early in the
morning, and have a short walk onto the Lukla
airstrip and fly back to Kathmandu. After
arriving in Kathmandu, you will transfer to
the hotel and overnight in the hotel.

Departure transfer to the Int’l
airport for onward journey flight or free for
you until time to leave the international airport
for your final destination. |
